Join us in the Mendocino Woodlands for a week rooted in fun, community, and world-class instruction in performing arts. Lark Camp brings together a vibrant, welcoming community of musicians, dancers, and culture-bearers to share and sustain traditional music, song, and dance from around the world.

With over 70 expert instructors and more than 120 classes each day, Lark Camp is a trusted hub for learning, whether you’re just starting or elevating your lifelong craft. Days are filled with immersive workshops and spontaneous sessions, while evenings come alive with dancing to live bands, campfire jams, and tune sessions under the redwood canopy.

At its heart, Lark Camp is about personal and artistic growth and expression, and we are deeply family friendly, offering dedicated kids’ programs and creative experiences that invite all ages to participate. Here, learning happens in shared moments, around campfires, and across generations.

VIRTUAL LARK

Virtual Lark 2026 Registration is CLOSED!

2027 Virtual Lark registration will open in January 2027

Taking place over Zoom, Virtual Lark features workshops with top notch instructors, artist-led jam sessions, and an amazing opportunity to connect with “Lark-minded” individuals from all over the world.

Virtual Lark sprung from the COVID lockdowns when LTA hosted Lark Camp Online during the summer when in-person camp would ordinarily be held, followed by its first February Virtual Lark Camp and the Lark Cabaret – a series of streamed concerts. All of these events were intended to not only provide work for artist-instructors, but to fill the need for musical interaction during periods of lock-down when we could not hold camp safely.

Join us in October 2026 for Jug Handle Campout—a cozy, joy-filled weekend of music, dance, and community on the breathtaking Mendocino Coast.

Think relaxed, mostly acoustic magic where you help shape the soundtrack. With world folk music flowing from every corner, it’s truly BYOTAT—Bring Your Own Tunes And Traditions. In other words… pure Lark-style!

Hosted at the gorgeous Jug Handle Creek Farm and Nature Center in Caspar, CA, this intimate gathering is the perfect blend of adventure and ease. Expect:

✨ Starry-night dances that keep the magic alive
